Lucky Horse Sitting offers professional, personable, and reliable care for horses, farm animals, and pets, with a focus on consistency, communication, and trust. Our services can support a wide range of properties, with care options from once, twice, or three times daily, all the way through to overnight stays and regional/out-of-area stays.

All services include a return trip within 40 km of Nerang, Gold Coast. For properties outside this area, please enquire and Lela talk you through our options. Extra time can be arranged where additional needs arise and will be discussed during the meet and greet to suit your routine and preferences.

  • All new clients begin with a required Meet & Greet. This gives us the chance to meet in person, walk through your property, get to know your animals, and confirm your personalised quote.

    Meet & Greets are needed to secure your requested dates, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. Lela will happily hold your preferred dates until the Meet & Greet takes place.

    You can fill out the enquiry form to get started, or send an email if you’d like to discuss your needs first.

  • From $70 per visit. A standard Visit is best suited for 1–3 horses and includes:

    • Feeding, fresh water, and medication as directed

    • Changing rugs according to weather and when dirty

    • General health and wellbeing checks

    • Treating minor cuts and grazes

    • Hose down on hot days

    • Complimentary carrots

    • Suncream application, hoof pick, and fly spray if necessary

    • Regular photo and message updates

    Extra time can be added where required. Add-ons may include:

    • Poo pick paddocks

    • Stable muck out

    • Grooming or bath

    • Additional horses or pets

    • Wait while eating

  • Lucky Horse Sitting offers professional bathing and grooming for your horse. Services can be added to your regular daily care visits or booked as standalone appointments.

    Show Ready Bath

    A full-body wash from head to hoof, including detangling of the mane and tail, nourishing shampoo and condition, coat care and hoof oil, all supplied by me. Optional purple toning treatment and special attention for common issues such as itch or greasy heel. Plaits and a tail trim are also included if desired.

    From $100 as a standalone service for one horse, Includes call-out fee for travel. Additional horses From $50

  • Overnight Stay – Price on Enquiry

    • Ideal for properties where animals require overnight monitoring

    • Guaranteed overnight presence between 7pm - 5am

    • Includes care for indoor pets

    • Overnight stays are limited and must be booked in advance

  • For clients with properties outside the Gold Coast, this is a full-service experience for your horses, pets, and property. An amazing option for large properties or equine operations across QLD & NSW.

    This service includes:

    • Return travel up to 8 hours from the Gold Coast

    • Morning and afternoon horse care (approx. 3 hours each)

    • Onsite care almost 24/7, with you as my exclusive client for the duration of my stay

    • Care for inside pets and farm animals

    • A phone consultation and a pre-departure visit to go over everything and ensure a personalised care plan
