Do you offer a complimentary meet and greet?
Yes! I offer a one-hour Meet & Greet for all new clients. This allows me to meet you and your animals, discuss care routines, and tailor a service plan that suits your needs. Requested dates are held until the Meet & Greet takes place.

What areas do you service? I’m based on the Gold Coast and provide care for properties within a 40 km return trip from Nerang. If you’re unsure whether your property is within this area, please get in touch — I’m happy to provide a quote for locations further afield.

How far in advance should I book? To ensure availability, I recommend booking at least 2–6 weeks in advance, especially during school holidays and peak seasons. Be sure to schedule your Meet & Greet to confirm your quote and lock in your dates!

Do you provide care for pets other than horses? Yes, I also provide care for birds, dogs, cats and farm animals.

How does the booking process work?

  1. Book your Meet & Greet online using the available times on my website.

  2. Complete the Meet & Greet form with details about your animals, routines, and any special requirements. If you have anything unique or prefer, you can also send an email enquiry.

  3. During the Meet & Greet, we’ll walk through your property, discuss care routines, and confirm any special needs.

  4. After the Meet & Greet, I’ll provide a personalised quote and secure your booking.

When and how do I pay for services? A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This ensures your preferred dates are held and allows me to prepare for your animals’ care. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.

What is your cancellation policy? I understand plans can change, so I aim to be fair and flexible:

  • Full refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the booking.

  • 50% refund if cancelled 3–7 days before the booking.

  • No refund if cancelled less than 3 days before or on the day of service.

  • In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or emergencies, refunds or reschedules may be considered at my discretion.

  • Deposits can also be transferred to new dates if agreed and availability allows.

Can I book regular visits or ongoing care? Yes, I’m happy to arrange ongoing care plans tailored to your schedule. Please get in touch to discuss availability and personalised pricing.

What happens if my horse requires veterinary attention while I’m away? In the event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow your instructions. If necessary, I can liaise with your nominated veterinarian to ensure prompt care.

Are you insured? Yes! Lucky Horse Sitting is fully insured for peace of mind — yours and mine.

Do you have horses of your own? Not at the moment, I’m too busy looking after everyone else’s!
