Do you offer a complimentary meet and greet?
Yes, I offer a complimentary one-hour meet and greet for all new clients. This allows me to meet you and your animals, discuss care routines, and tailor a service plan that suits your needs.
What areas do you service? I’m based on the Gold Coast and service surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether your property is within my service area, please get in touch.
How far in advance should I book? To ensure availability, I recommend booking at least 2–6 weeks in advance, especially during school holidays and peak seasons. But I am happy to take bookings up to one year in advacne.
Do you provide care for pets other than horses? Yes, I also provide care for dogs, cats, farm animals, and property management tasks as part of my services.
Do you offer emergency care or last-minute bookings? Where possible, I do my best to accommodate urgent bookings. Please contact me directly to check availability.
How does the booking process work? First, submit an enquiry through my website with details about your animals and the care you need. I’ll then get in touch to arrange a complimentary one-hour meet and greet, where we’ll go over your horses’ routines and any special requirements. Once we’ve confirmed the details, I’ll provide a personalised quote and secure your booking.
When and how do I pay for services? Payment is required upfront to secure your booking. I accept bank transfer, PayPal or online payment.
What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations made with more than 7 days’ notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of your booking may incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking are non-refundable.
Can I book regular visits or ongoing care? Yes, I’m happy to arrange ongoing care plans tailored to your schedule. Please get in touch to discuss availability and personalised pricing.
What happens if my horse requires veterinary attention while I’m away? In the event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow your instructions. If necessary, I can liaise with your nominated veterinarian to ensure prompt care.
Are you insured? Yes! Lucky Horse Sitting is fully insured for peace of mind — yours and mine.
Do you have horses of your own? Not at the moment, I’m too busy looking after everyone else’s!
